This feature is available on the following plans:

  • Growth

  • Premium

  • AppSumo*

This feature allows you to customise the link people click to visit your Pod.co page. Once enabled they'll be able to access the page from a subdomain of your choice. To get started you must have access to your domain provider's control panel.

Choose your domain

Head to My Page > Settings within your Podcast.co dashboard.

Scroll down to Custom Domain then enter the link you'd like to use.

This must be a subdomain (e.g. podcast.website.com).

Click Save at the bottom of the page and your unique CNAME record will be generated.

Adding a CNAME Record to your Domain

Once you have chosen your custom domain for your Pod.co page you'll need to log in to your domain provider's control panel to add a CNAME record.
โ€‹
If you're not sure who your domain is registered with you can find out by searching a WHOIS database for your domain name.

Example Details:

Custom Domain: my.podcast.com

New record details:

  • Type: CNAME

  • Host Name (or Name): my.podcast.com (or just my in some cases)

  • Target: my-podcast.p.pod.co

Adding the CNAME to a LCN provided domain:

Please note, updating DNS records can sometimes take up to 24 hours. Please allow time for your page to become available at the custom domain link. Once live, your listeners will be able to access via either the standard pod.co link in your dashboard or your custom link.

CNAME external Guides:

*AppSumo users who redeemed 2 or more codes will have access to Advanced Pages with Custom Domains.
