Apple Podcasts is rolling out new features in iOS 26.2 (currently in Beta) to improve how episode chapters and links appear in Apple Podcasts. These updates also come with changes to the Apple Podcasts Connect Terms of Service, which all users will need to accept before continuing to publish or manage their shows.
If you manage shows via Podcast.co, no RSS feed or integration changes are required simply log in to Apple Podcasts Connect and accept the updated terms to ensure your feed remains active.
What’s Changing:
Episode Chapters
You can now provide episode chapters directly through your episode notes or RSS feed.
If you don’t provide chapters, Apple will automatically generate them using your episode transcript (English shows only).
Enhanced Links
When you include links to Apple services (such as Apple Music, Apple News, or Apple TV) in your episodes, these will now display directly in Apple Podcasts.
As part of a limited beta, Apple may also automatically create links to other shows mentioned in your episode (English-only at this stage).
