This feature is available on the following plans:

  • Lite

  • Growth

  • Premium

  • AppSumo

This feature is for applying a prefix URL to use services like Chartable, and Podtrac. Here's how to set that up once you've signed up for their services and you have your prefix URL ready.

Adding the Prefix URL to your Podcast

Head into your Podcast.co dashboard and visit Settings > Advanced under the Podcast you need to prefix.

At the bottom of the page you'll find the Media URL Prefix option. Here you can paste your prefix URL from either Chartable or Podtrac.

NOTE: Only fill in this field if you have a prefix URL and ensure there are no spaces. Adding an incorrect URL here could cause your podcast to become unavailable.

Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page to add the prefix URL to your feed.

It can take up to 5 minutes for the prefix to be added to the feed and up to 48 hours for tracking to begin on each service due to directory refresh rates.

Finding your Prefix URLs

Podtrac

Log in to your Podtrac account then click on your podcast. Head to Measurement Service in the sidebar and find your prefix URL under section one. Be sure to use the 'HTTPS' version.

Podtrac updates metrics on a daily basis. The latest metrics available will be for the previous day.

Chartable

Log in to your Chartable account then click Integrations in the sidebar.
Click Trackable

In the 'How to connect Trackable' section click Other.
The page will jump down to an email template. You'll see the Chartable prefix URL within (chtbl.com....).

Once you have saved your URL in Podcast.co, wait 5 minutes then click the Refresh Trackable Status button in Chartable.
Tracking should now be enabled for your Podcast.

It may take a few days for analytics data to ingest into Chartable. Backdated data may not be available.
